Supporting Your Journey
Journeying with any sacred plant medicine involves a union between life energies, yours with that of the medicine itself, and must be approached with reverence. This communion then elevates the energetic state of your being, opening up expanded states of awareness, insights, and opportunities to heal past residual traumas, ultimately leading to a happier, joyful life in the now.
Many westerners travel all across the world seeking something from these plant medicines only to return home feeling as if they “did not get what they were looking for” or that they thought they could have gone deeper. For those who do find success, it can often be short-lived as their return home places them back into the exact environment, people, or triggers that they once sought relief.
Leveraging my chemistry background with personal experience working with Plant Medicine (as a receiver and provider), I help you find lasting, deep-rooted healing fueled from within. Together we will ensure you are prepared with the tools to deepen your experience and that you have the proper support to integrate your healings/insights when you return home.

“I am so grateful to Troy for the advice and preparation he provided in advance of my first Ayahuasca retreat. His reverence for “the medicine” and his passion for helping others on their journey towards spirituality and healing is palpable. Plant-based medicine was fascinating to me, yet still, sort of an unsettling prospect at best. Hearing the descriptions of what happens during these ceremonies made me super anxious as the date of my ceremony drew closer. Troy agreed to coach my two travel partners and me about three weeks prior to our trip, and that made all the difference in our overall experience. He described the history of the ritual and the medicine, and went on to describe what he has experienced in his own practice with plant-based medicine. He did not sugar-coat any of the information but suggested that we just honor the medicine and the ceremony by dedicating ourselves to the pre-work, diet, meditation, and intention setting in advance of the ceremony. Once at the ceremony, Troy told us to relax and surrender to the medicine and the ritual. He reminded us that we would be surrounded by professionals who are well versed in the medicine and that our only job was to just accept whatever the medicine may bring to us. He reinforced that the medicine always gives each person exactly what they need, and although sometimes it can bring frightening images, no actual harm would come to us. He suggested being an observer of the experience (as though watching what was taking place from the perspective of “above,” detached, if you will, and simply watching with great interest as the process unfolds. Those bits of advice were invaluable. Throughout the two-day ritual, I never felt frightened or that I lacked control of anything. The experience was very, very interesting and different, but I was able to stay relaxed, centered, focused, and in a position to just be present with all that was happening around me throughout the ceremonies. Thank you, Troy! Without this information, my experience could have been much more difficult.”

Why do we call it “Plant Medicine”?
If we look at the world around us, we see the result of human engineering, design, and creativity. With the touch of a button, we have “out of season” fresh groceries delivered to our door and a driver waiting to take us anywhere we desire. The word survival is no longer about life or death but status. We live in a time with more comforts and convinces than any other beings to walk this planet.
So why is it that mental illness, anxiety, and depression are at an all-time high? Why is it that the more we have, the more we need? We are on an endless search for happiness, joy, and liberation that has no finish line while destroying the planet and all of the life that calls it home. We as a species have a sickness, the sickness of the human mind and our derived sense of Self from external pleasure and things.
So what is the cure for this sickness? Plant Medicine… Ayahuasca, Iboga, Cacao, Psilocybin, and the other naturally occurring Plant Medicines are the tools to help liberate us from our endless struggle. By helping us awaken to a new level of consciousness, we become healed and whole. We find freedom from the past, release of the wants and desires of the future, and find peace in the present. It is here we realize that the power to heal has always been within. It is thru identification with the Self that we are finally cured and thus free.
Which is right for you?
Ayahuasca
Ayahuasca is an entheogenic brew made from Banisteriopsis caapi vine. With many translations, "vein of the soul" reflects the plants' purpose most direct. The Feminine Spirit of this sacred plant carries generations of wisdom, knowledge, and love. Working with her is an honor and must be approached with the most profound respect. If you are looking to explore with Ayahuasca, please ensure you understand who is serving the medicine, where it has come from, and the oral tradition carried. When supported correctly, the Spirit of this medicine can change your life, just as it did mine.
Cacao
Theobroma Cacao (Food of the Gods) is a plant medicine that works to open the Heart Chakra energetic center. When sourced from specific regions and honored with reverence, this plant medicine will carry the powerful energetic Spirit of Cacao. In addition, the following chemical compounds make Cacao a proper plant medicine. Theobromine, a cardiovascular stimulant that increases heart health and energy. Phenethylamine (PEA)-Known as the love molecule due to its association with the sensation of "being in love." Anandamide is known as the "bliss" molecule and is produced in the mind of those in deep meditation. Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI's)-Inhibit Monoamine Oxidases from breaking down the pleasurable neurotransmitters within the brain (Dopamine, Seratonin, Epinephrine) allow for prolonged positive effects.
Iboga
Tabernanthe Iboga (Iboga) is a powerful psychotropic substance (Root Bark) used for millennia by the Bwiti. Roughly translated to mean "to care for" or "to heal," this sacred medicine has deep cultural ties as well proof of being an established treatment for Opioid addiction. Journeying with Iboga is about going deeper into one's soul and its infinite nature by activating the 3rd eye Chakra energy center. As with any plant medicine, understanding the cultural ties and source is extremely important before ingestion.
Psilocybin Mushroom
Teonanacatl Mushrooms (Flesh of the Gods) is a plant medicine that allows for expanding the human mind. When ingested, Psilocybin goes thru a process called dephosphorylation and is converted into Psilocin. At this phase, Psilocin will mimic Seratonin and bind to the 5-HT2A receptor in the brain. This causes the Pre-Frontal Cortex in the brain to be stimulated, allowing for abstract thinking, thought/analysis, mood, and perception to be elevated.
Bufo alvarius
The Bufo alvarius toad has been used in ceremonial settings in Mesoamerica for thousands of years. 5-MeO-DMT is produced by the Bufalo alvarius toad, although it can also be formulated synthetically. The harvest of this potent molecule is the topic of ethical debate. Therefore, working with 5-MeO-DMT should be done under the supervision of an experienced guide while ensuring it was harvested without harming the animal.
Working with this powerful medicine facilitates removal of the ego, no more "I" or "Me," allowing one to expand their consciousness in a manner that envelopes you in the unity of existence itself. As with any other sacred medicines, the reverence and respect you pay to the experience during and after integration are equally important.
